• Lead and inspire a high-performing engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement
• Guide the team in balancing speed of execution with the high quality standards expected by both internal stakeholders and end users, through well-defined and repeatable engineering processes
• Serve as a key escalation point across stakeholders, while remaining hands-on with code—reading and writing as needed to support the team
• Build a culture of strong technical ownership, resulting in scalable, reliable, and high-quality products and services
• Set technical direction, drive architectural decisions, and ensure the delivery of high-performance, scalable, and dependable software solutions
• Promote a healthy, collaborative team environment, helping to shape an outstanding workplace where top talent thrives

• 10+ years of engineering experience in a medium or large software company, including 4+ years managing high-performance teams
• Hands-on coding experience with Python in recent professional roles
• Experience managing a 20+ person engineering organization
• Strong technical craft mastery and engineering discipline
• Deep organizational capabilities, especially in regards to influence, collaboration, and communication
• Demonstrated ability to hire and grow senior leaders and managers
• English C1+

• B2B experience at a product-led growth company
• Ability to code in Go
• Background in the Security field
• Startup and growth experience leading fast-growing engineering teams with a set of sub-teams and managers
• Experience leading an engineering department through a transformation phase
• Experience managing remote / virtual-first teams
