Your tasks on the position:
- Taking responsibility for the automated testing system
- Ensuring test stability and performance
- Developing and maintaining new tests for Linux-based OS
- Maintaining and improving CI/CD
- Diving deep to find problems in the product/tests
- Communicating with development teams to establish fast and reliable testing and release processes
- Keeping test system documentation up to date
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in Test Automation (SDET / QA Automation role)
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Python as the main programming language
- Solid commercial experience with Linux (incl. system administration, package management, firewall/server configuration) and shell scripting (bash)
- Experience designing and maintaining test infrastructure using tools like Ansible and Docker
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD (e.g. Gerrit, Jenkins), including setup and support
- Good understanding of DevOps practices in the context of automation engineering
- Strong knowledge of functional, regression, and performance testing
- English B2+
Will be a plus:
- Experience with live-patching, hot-swap, or similar technologies
- Knowledge of C/C++ and low-level library behavior, or at least willingness to work with them
