About the company and the project:

A large international technology company in the EdTech field is looking for a Manual QA Engineer to join its distributed team.

The company has been helping millions of users access quality online education since the 2000s.

It partners with more than 1,000 publishers and resellers, developing solutions for creating and distributing affordable educational materials worldwide.

Your tasks on the position:

  • Develop and maintain test plans and test cases
  • Perform manual UI and API testing of web applications
  • Validate client-server interactions and data using SQL queries
  • Review requirements and define acceptance criteria
  • Log defects and work with test management systems
  • Collaborate with developers and the product team on issue resolution

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Manual QA
  • Experience in writing SQL queries
  • Understanding of HTTP, HTML, AJAX, JSON, REST APIs and client-server architecture
  • Experience testing complex web applications (UI and API)
  • Ability to develop and improve test plans
  • Ukrainian/Russian C1+
  • English B2+

Will be a plus:

  • Experience with Agile methodologies
  • Knowledge of JIRA, TestRail, Qmetry
  • Basic knowledge of Linux (Ubuntu CLI)
  • Basic knowledge of git
  • Experience with Cypress
  • Experience with WCAG/ADA testing
