About the company and the project:
A company based in Cyprus with an office in Nicosia, licensed by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC), has been operating in the European financial market for over 30 years. It is a classic investment broker. Currently, the company is looking for a Reconciliation Senior Specialist with at least 3 years of experience in a similar role within the financial sector.
The specialist will join the Operations team and will be responsible for reconciling external account balances with internal records, as well as maintaining the internal database of financial instruments.

Priority is given to candidates currently based in Nicosia, but the company is open to considering strong candidates willing to relocate.

Your tasks on the position:
- Daily reconciliation of cash, positions, dividends, and interest
- Matching external balances with internal records
- Maintaining internal financial instruments database
- Ensuring data accuracy in back-office systems
- Supporting Middle Office, Corporate Actions, and Compliance teams
- Investigating and resolving operational discrepancies
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in a similar role in the financial sector
- Upper-Intermediate level of English or higher
- Strong knowledge of reconciliation processes
- Understanding of financial instruments and trade lifecycle
- Attention to detail and data accuracy
- Confident Excel user
Will be an advantage:
- Knowledge of Russian language
- Experience in investment or brokerage firms regulated by CySEC
- Understanding of corporate actions, security pricing, and involvement in client funds reconciliation
