A large company developing an international delivery system is looking for a specialist with extensive experience with compliance risks and company policies
The company has been on the market for 5 years but has managed to open divisions in the Middle East and Europe. The company's flagship project already has over a million active users and is expanding its audience.
You will be responsible for developing and monitoring the implementation of KYC and Compliance-risk policies for technical processes, managing risk and working with partners and regulatory agencies to improve the security of the company's products and services.
You are offered relocation to the Cyprus office in Limassol and a position in the international team (team communication is in English).

Compliance Lead
Your tasks:
- Developing, implementing and improving compliance policies and procedures
- Monitoring compliance with policies and procedures
- Actively participation in the analysis and assessment of information security risks and threats
- Leading the complience team (task management, technical processes, employee development)
- Participating in periodic internal IT security audits
- Communication with partners and government agencies regarding the interpretation of legal requirements in the field of IS
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience as Compliance Engineer/Compliance Lead
- Hands-on experience implementing application security processes (CI/CD) and secure programming practices
- Experience leading a team of security professionals
- Knowledge of basic personal data principles and concepts
- Experience in ISO projects
- Experience in developing internal IS documentation
- Fluent English (C1+)
Will be a plus:
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka
- Hands-on experience with cloud environments (AWS, GCP or Azure) and Opensource
- Experience with financial regulatory security and data privacy requirements
- Experience implementing metrics and methods to measure an organization's security risks
- Knowledge of the latest security approaches and innovations
- Experience with information security management systems (ISO27001)
- Professional certifications in security management and/or CISSP, MSc degrees in information security
